Hello All,
I received my copy of Herbertia as well. Really nice. I wanted to give a special thanks for Herb Kelly for introducing me to IBS. I want to say thank you for all the hard work he has done to keep this
forum alive, and so we can "receive" a Herbertia.
I have promised Herb I will be donating some Clivia's to IBS, so please be prepared to support the IBS by purchasing a Clivia or two.
I will be posting information on the forum of what will be available. Thanks Herb for all your hard work,
Regards,

My copy of Herbertia arrived today in Florida. It's very well done, as usual, and I want to personally thank all of the authors and others that had a part in the publication. Besides renewing
our own membership and promptly paying for our purchases, one of the best things each one of us can do this year is to interest at least one gardening friend in membership. Herbertia
is worth the price of membership, and that's about what it costs to produce. Show someone your copy, and tell them how to join the International Bulb Society.

Hi Herb,
My copy of Herbertia arrived yesterday. Congratulations to Mr. Herb Kelly Jr., Mr. Ori Fragman-Sapir and Mr. Thompson for their awards.
And hats off to all those involved for a beautiful and informative volume, as always, please keep them coming! My love of plants and especially those from Western
and Central Asia makes me envy Mr. Sapir's picture with Iris mariae. Born in Iran myself, it takes me back to my childhood and teenage years. Looking at the picture I
can feel the heat of the sun and must say that I love and miss it!!! Beautiful pictures. Can't say enough for the rest of the articles and pictures - Excellent!

Hi Herb,
Just received the latest HERBERTIA. I wish there were better words than congratulations to all
concerned. I can say this quite confidently that, during my membership at least, the society has never enjoyed better nor harder working management.
From me to you, thank you for your personal contributions as well. I'm certain the SX and
BX programs have been enormously beneficial to the society.
Happy Easter to you and yours and to management.

Hi Herb,
Can I offer a vote of thanks to you and David Lehmiller for all the tremendous Crinum species photos you have posted!
I had no idea of the diversity of this genus, having germinated only a few different Southern African and Australian species...
I really appreciate the effort taken in photographing and then uploading these photos.

I think we all get something different from IBS. For me it is the sharing of information, both online and through Herbertia. For this I am most grateful to Herb and
the rest of the officers for running it.
Happy New Year (if it's not too late)

DEAR MEMBERS:
I would like to take a moment to thank all the loyal dedicated members, that have supported IBS through the years. Your donations of seed and bulbs, gifts
sent to help support IBS, purchases on the BX & SX, and membership dues, have helped keep IBS solvent. We are forever grateful to all. I would also
like to take a moment to thank my Board of Directors, all have shown devotion and support to me, as I serve as President of IBS. We have come a long way, surviving through
troubled times. Our journal Herbertia is back in her Glory, with over 300 pages in most issues, more color pictures, UV inhibitor added to all pages, thicker paper, better
binding, not to mention great articles. I'm proud to have you all with me on this journey. All our directors have done much, all as volunteers. A Special thank you to
All.

No, THANK YOU! I've not been a member long and I see what an amazing job you do, the hard work you put fourth is greatly recognized and I think it's incredibly
distasteful for the few that decidedly downed OUR society! I will continue to renew my membership for as long as possible!
Thanks :)
BTW, I love the ease of uploading for the new photo gallery, great work!

I just got a few minutes to look over this latest edition of the new Bulletin…… WOW…. Looks great, reads great and I know
I will thoroughly enjoy the whole issue when I have even more time to go through and read the articles end to end. This was a quick look through just to make sure you know how
much I appreciate all of the work done on our behalf to produce such a well done issue of Herbertia.
Many thanks to all who contributed the articles, to those who edited the issues and then
the one who kept it all going on an extended effort to catch us up to date. Back on level ground now, let’s keep up the work.

Dear Herb,
I would like to add a note about the latest edition of Herbertia. I found it to be very absorbing. I had a difficult time putting it down to continue with my chores, etc.!
The photos were great, the articles were interesting and informative and it was overall the best Herbertia that has been issued to date.
Congrats to everyone who had a part in getting this edition out!

Herb,
I received earlier this week the combined 2009 issue
of Herbertia vol. 63 and Bulbs vols. 10 & 11. It was very gratifying to see that Herbertia has been up-to-date for the last two years and that Bulbs is now up-to-date.
I am looking forward to reading in detail many of the articles, including those dealing with subjects that I have minimum familiarity with, e.g., Komoriya’s “Lachenalia breeding,” Komoriya’s “Breeding
of Gloriosa,” Fragman-Sapir’s “The bulbs of Mt Hermon…”, Vosa’s “Notes on the genus Tulbagia…”, and Vosa’s “An
update…of the genus Tulbagia L. (Alliaceae).” The subject manner in this issue is broad and is sure to have something of interest and value to all
those interested and involved in the growing of geophytes.

Herb,
Just wanted to comment on the recent issues of HERBERTIA. These are the finest I believe that have been produced yet. Thank
you for seeing that the publications are now current. Seems such a daunting task for some yet you made it look so simple and accomplished it. I am glad to see I passed
IBS into good hands. Thank you for all your dedication and hard work. Most of all thanks for your leadership of IBS. None of this would be possible without it.

Dear friends all over the world - with this bouquet of Amaryllis 'Grandeur' flowers - after 3 years waiting finally two scapes - I would like to send my big thanks
to all you active members, sending your beautyful pictures, your interesting experiences and your expert comments in this forum.
And my very biggest thank goes to Herb, our president, for his great work, his contagious enthusiasm and that he has given so much life to IBS and this forum. I am proud and happy
to be an IBS-member!
A suggestion: with so many marvellous pictures it would be necessary to choose a POW (Picture of the week), not only a POM.
