Zephyranthes huastecana is one of Thad Howard's Mexican collections and it is one of the hardiest (to cold) pink flowered Zephyranthes known. It was originally distributed as 'Horsetail Falls'. The bulbs are the largest of the Zephyranthes and can reach the size of baseballs; the blooms are slightly fragrant and the bulbs rarely offset.
