Urceocharis x clibrani

An intergeneric hybrid of Urceolina pendula x Eucharis "grandiflora" (amazonica).

From the Gardeners' Chronicle, September 23, 1899 p. 251.

"A hybrid has been obtained between E. grandiflora and Urceolina pendula, called Urceocharis Clibrani, a figure of which is given on p. 251. I do not like the hybrid so well as either of its parents. I mention this hybrid to draw attention of hybridists to Urceolina miniata, a pretty plant with bright scarlet flowers. We should probably have something good if this colour could be infused into the Eucharis by inter-breeding."
