Scilla cilicica

Scilla cilicica at the Jerusalem Botanical Gardens. This is a rare bulb growing from S Turkey (Cilicia) to northern Israel. In Israel it is a protected species. It blooms in shaded places in humid scrub, often on cliffs and steep locations.
