A shot of our Lachenalia viridiflora taken in June last year. An incredible colour, but as you can see ours is definitely more green than blue. Incidentally it seems to be one of the more vigorous and easily grown of the Lachenalias we cultivate and is in our catalogue for the first time this year.

Well in spite of the cold, wet and windy weather we've been experiencing lately there are still some lovely bulbs worth photographing when the sun finally shines.

The amazing Lachenalia viridiflora - wish I had an acre of these!
