Kelissa brasilensis

A rarely cultivated species which belongs to the Iridaceae family.  Kelissa brasilensis is a small species native to Brasil where plants are said to grow in poor soil.  It is a winter grower which flowers in spring.  The attractive flowers last for only one day.
