Iris setosa var. interior

This is one color phase of I. setosa var. interior from Alaska.
 
This particular cv is the largest I've grown, reaching 22" tall. The show isn't over once the blooms are gone. This (and quite a few of the light blues) produce large showy pods tinted purple. ...in full bloom right now.

Iris setosa var. interior (Alaskan wildflower). This time in the more common purple.
