Iris palaestina

Iris palaestina, west of the town of Modi'in, central Israel. February 1st 2007.

This species is endemic to Israel and S Lebanon, it is rather common especially in the lower hills and costal sandstone ridges.

Very easy to grow in drained soil, sunny location and dry summer.
