Iris latifolia Species of natural Iris from humid meadows in pyrenean montains (South West of France). Known before as Iris xiphioides. About 45cm high, it’s a bulbous iris. You can find it near mountain lakes about 1000m height. Usually in important groups, they begin to grow under the snow, so that they flower very quickly after the snow is gone.
