Hippeastrum unknown
Here is a mystery for you all. This image is an Amaryllis that has
been grown by my grandmother at least since the 1940's. It grows,
multiplies, and blooms well. it also makes bulblets quite prolifically.
I have grown it as an evergreen type with little or no dormancy or have
given it a complete rest with no problems. The flowers are about 5-six
inches across with no more than three to a stem. If anyone knows what it
might be I would love to put a name on it.
