Hesperantha tysonii

We have flowered for the first time Hesperantha tysonii - the seed came
from
Archibald in 1996 his comments in his seed list
"Among grasses on steep moist SE facing slopes 17/03/1996. Verified
by Peter Goldblatt. One [of the] highest alpines in the genus, recorded
up to 3300m. About 30cm high, large deep-pink flowers, vaguely like a
wiry stemmed Schostylis. first described by Baker as Acidanthera."
We have 6 plants in flower outdoors in a pot - climate usually winter
rain
with smaller amounts throughout the year. Annual rainfall around 1000mm.
However this year we had heavy summer rains with over 200mm in February.
