Hesperantha falcata

I had to share this picture with you. Have been trying to remember to photograph this elusive beauty for weeks now. The flowers open in the afternoon and are closed by morning. I rarely get a chance to get into my garden in the afternoons, but often I'm there mornings. Generally if I am out there late then the light is so bad that I cannot photograph.

These have been flowering for around 3 weeks and in that time I have seen them 3 times. The flowers are very striking, particularly with the arrangement of the anthers in relation to the petals. Have not seen this sort of arrangement before and thought that others might enjoy it.
