Habenaria susannae

A tall growing (to 3 feet) species from SE Asia.  Sometimes placed in the genus Pecteilis.  It belongs to the same group as H. radiata.  Grows in grasslands, and is especially vigorous after fires.  In cultivation a generous helping of fertilizer when it starts growing helps to duplicate this.  Dry rest from late November to May.
