Galaxia fugacissima
Courtesy UC Irvine Arboretum
These pics were taken at lunch time; by 4 o'clock they had all shrivelled
up to nothing.
I'll have to wait another 2-3 days for another crop of flowers.

It was a
change to see the sun again after weeks of rain, hail and wind. A couple
of surprises have suddenly blossomed having survived it all: Galaxia
fugacissima and Gladiolus tenellus. They help to revive the spirits again!
