Fritillaria persica

Fritillaria persica is a protected bulb in Israel. It is scattered in the north part of the country and rare southwards. Most populations are green flowered, the southernmost population had purple flowers. At the Jerusalem Botanical gardens it grows without any irrigation and blooms in February-March.
