Fritillaria biflora var. biflora: This fritillaria, subject to taxonomic debate and also known by the names F. roderickii and F. grayana, is a rare species being found in fewer than ten places in Mendocino County, California in heavy clay soils. A selection has been tissue cultured and is available in the trade under the name F. biflora 'Martha Roderick'.
