Ennealophus fimbriatus

Here you can see 2 species of Ennealophus. The one in the right is E. euryandrus, the one in the left is E. fimbriatus. Both grow in the same place in mountains of Salta province.

Ennealophus is a Iridaceae genus close to Eleutherine, Cardenanthus, Mastigostyla and Tucma (probably a Mastigostyla) they are Trigrideae. Common in mountains is Bolivia, Perú and north of Argentina. Mastigostyla and Cardenanthus are common in high altitude (3500 m or more) grasslands, Eleutherine is common in dry grasslands and Ennealophus in more humid grasslands and slopes close to forests.

Here I send one more picture of E. fimbriatus so you can see the leaves.
