Cyclamen coum

Cyclamen coum grows in the eastern Mediterranean to the Caucasus. In Israel it is rare and restricted to the north part of the country above 900 m.
These pics were taken in Mas'ad'e Forest in the northern Golan Heights, in February 2006 after a rare snow storm. In this site the cyclamens are common and found at the base of oak trees.
