Crocus nudiflorus
Taken today here in rather warm Northern NJ. You can see the flower that
was partially eaten by a now extinct squirrel. I remember a suggestion
from a Robin who said that take a couple of peanuts and use construction
adhesive and stick them to the area just midway between the two yellow
lines on a busy street.. As the squirrels try to run out and grab one
before traffic comes......well you know the rest.
