Crinum
yemense
Geoff Wilson This is the last of my Crinum to flower for the season.
The blooms of C. yemense are larger [than C. moorei],
the petals tend to fold back more. As the blooms open they tend to lose
all their light pink shading.
I also believe the musk perfume is stronger on C. yemense. I
find the main difference is in the leaves: C. moorei grows out
horizontally whereas C. yemense are more vertical in growth,
also their leaves are a lot more tolerant to hot burning summer afternoon
sun.
