Crinum longifolium (Thunb.)

Distributed throughout South Africa occasionally found in dense formation. These plants flowered in the grounds of the Division of Plant Industry, Pretoria in Oct-Nov 1935.

The leaves were damaged by worms. Since photo was taken leaves have grown out 2-2 1/2 ft. long.
