Crinum graminicola

The plant was rescued from construction site in the Pretoria suburbs. It's a hard species to grow in the cultivation. I grow all mine in river sand and keep them completely dry during the winter months. They rarely flower or set seed in cultivation, and they only reproduce by seed which will only flower in about 8 years or more.

They are closely related to Crinum delagoense, which is very similar, and easier to cultivate
