Crinum flaccidum
Near Salta, Pichi-Richi pass, Flinders Range, South Australia.
Flowers a good yellow in cool weather, citron yellow in hot. Soil pH, 8-9.
Spring growing and flowering.
This one is Crinum flaccidum. I suspect this comes from a tetraploid
form as the flowers from this site are easily twice the size of flowers
collected at different sites.
I have crossed this with the C. 'Bradley's
Giant'. I am reasonably sure that C. 'BG' has C. flaccidum involved in the
hybrid.
