Colchicum autumnale
Vladimír Ježovič (September 18, 2006)
Colchicum autumnale in North-West Scotland Just back from a trip to Achiltibuie and Skye. They are among the windiest places anywhere, the wind full of salt too, but there were good clumps of colchicums in half the tiny cottage gardens. The other pictures shows the Summer Isles from the point where the colcicums were growing. Wonderful scenery when its not wet! There were not many geophytes but I might send another picture or two.
