Bulbinella hookeri

These were taken last Saturday when our local conservation Board were taken to some of the N Z army high country training land in the central North Island. The army works with the Conservation Department in protecting N Z's endangered plants.

Much of the area is swampy wetland and there are large areas of this New Zealand Bulbinella.
