Boophane disticha

This plant was found in the Pilansberg Game Reserve near Rustenburg, north east of Johannesburg. Its typical of the northern plants of this widely distributed species. This plant is very poisonous to stock.

The photo of the wavy leafed form was taken near Grahamstown, where both the straight leafed and wavy occur almost side by side.
