Biarum auraniticum

Biarum auraniticum is a narrow rare endemic of the Golan Heights near the border between Israel and Syria.

It grows in basalt soil and blooms in October-November, the leaves appear later in November after the first strong rains.

In the pictures you can see it in nature and in a container at the Jerusalem Botanical Gardens, where we grow it successfully for 10 years.
