I obtained seed of this A. magnifica from Leo Song of California State University at Fullerton. The florets are substantially larger (and with more intense blue and violet hues) than other A. magnifica that we have grown. Leo collected it on a trip to Chile but I have no other info on where he found it.

The rhizomes have not been easy (let's say, impossible) to lift and divide, but we keep trying.
