Alstroemeria longistamina

The pic attached is of an A. longistamina seedling that has been flowering for the past 2 months; it is growing in a Davis greenhouse that is heated when temps fall below 10 C and evaporatively cooled when temps rise above 26-30 C. Regarding explosive ejection of mustard-size seed from alstroemeria fruit, all of the alstroemeria that I grow seem to have this trait but some fruit are more easily ruptured than others.
